Day 1: Drive from Arusha to Nainokanoka Village then a hike up to the rim of the Olmoti Crater to visit the Munge Waterfalls. Then an evening hike down to the base camp where dinner and overnight at Nainokanoka Village awaits.

Day 2: Nainokanoka- Bulati Masai Village  – After breakfast, a trek across the Embulbul Depression to the base of the Empakai Crater at the Bulati village. On the way you will see gazelle, wildebeest and many speicies of birds. Dinner and overnight at Bulati Village at days end. The trek well take about 5 hours.

Day 3: Bulati Masai Village – Empakai Crater Rim – An early breakfast, then a trek to the rim of the Empakai Crater and descend to the floor for a tour of the lake shore which is teeming with thousands of pink flamingos. Ascend to rim for dinner and overnight at Nyika Empakai bush camp. This is a day long hike of about 8 hours with a picnic lunch break in the crater.

Day 4: Empakai- Lerai Forest Camp – A breakfast, then a trek down to the Lerai forest. A picnic lunch before we proceed along the Great Rift Valley rim and down to the beautiful landscape of the Rift Valley wall. A side trek to the Hills, then dinner and overnight at Lerai Forest Camp.

Day 5: Lerai Forest – Lengai Base – After a breakfast hike to base of Mt. Oldonyo Lengai there will be a picnic at Maungoni Hill where a beautiful view of mountain and landscape of Great rift valley awaits. You will also visit an actual Masai home. You will be picked here and driven back to Arusha arriving in the evening. We transfer you to the airport ending your stay in Tanzania.

Day 1: Arusha, Tanzania  Arrive in Arusha and transfer to the Lodge. Explore the beautifully landscaped gardens, take a dip in the pool, or relax on your private veranda. Later we gather for a welcome dinner.

Day 2-4: Alamana Wilderness Camp, Northern Serengeti  We fly to Serengeti National Park. we commence our first wildlife drive. Our destination is the Alamana Reserve, an exclusive private concession bordering the park that offers fabulous wildlife viewing in diverse habitats.

Day 5-7: Natural Habitat Camp, Southern Serengeti  Depart for the southern Serengeti with a wildlife drive en route. The days of heavy canvas hunting camps set for the likes of Roosevelt and Hemingway were nearly over until photographic safaris gained popularity. There is nothing like the Serengeti during the Great Migration. We spend two full days following the sea of mammals in open-topped 4-wheel-drive vehicles.

Day 10: Livingstone & Victoria Falls – Today you will be driven back to Livingstone airport for your flight back home.

Day 6: Vumbura Concession – A full day of game viewing from Little Vumbura. This is a fabulous mixed area where you can enjoy game drives, night drives and walks plus water activities such as a boat safari or mokoro trips.
